  • BMW M2 (Australian Spec confirmed)

Ok this is a confirmed Australian spec M2 and a little disappointing as it has no option for park assist, speedo info and no Heads up display.

Come on BMW what are you thinking. This is a $100000 car!!

M2 on order - black and 6sp manual

    Hi guys,

I am new to BMW and the OzBMW forum but not new to the Oz forum family due to my current car, an Audi S3 sedan. Same username over at OzAudi too.

Anyway, I've been missing rear drive and made the jump to a full spec M2 with 6 speed manual (* something that isn't noted above as an option). I didn't option a sunroof as I've had them in the past and never used them - and they add weight and rattles. Thanks to Shepparton BMW who were a pleasure to deal with and made the various Melbourne dealerships I dealt with seem third rate - my ETA is early December.

I suspect I will miss the Audi interior but the extra performance should more than make up for that - at least when the weather is good

I will post my impressions and a comparison between the cars when I get it and have a chance to go for a proper drive.
