1985 BMW E30 318i - $5K ono
originally posted on ozAudi.
MUST SELL BEFORE MARCH!
I'm selling my beloved E30 because I no longer drive it since getting married. It's the perfect P plater car or the perfect car to keep as a daily. It's seriously a head turner. Rego expires in March, but if I have to renew it then I'll keep it..
Year: 1985
Make and Model: BMW E30 318i 2-dr coupe
Colour: "Arctic blue" (silverish with a tinge of blue)
Mileage: 287,xxx km
Transmission: 5-speed manual
RWD or FWD: Rear-wheel drive
Registration: Until March, 2010
Roadworthy: Not provided but nearly there
Aesethtics: Full BBS body kit with fatter guards and spoiler.
Wheels: 15" BBS RS basket weaves with an offset to match the guards (not fully aggressive though)
Suspension: Rear Bilstein shocks with KBRL-14SL King Springs
Misc:
*Manual sunroof
*Electric mirrors
*Aircon
*Alpine head unit with iPod/aux/mp3/cd
*Alarm and central locking
*Tinted windows (5% back, 18% sides)
I recently changed the front windscreen as it had a crack, and also the rear suspension. Also have a pair of front low King Springs (brand new) that haven't been put in yet, but I think the current springs have sagged lower than the Kings would sit.
Problems:
*Other than the little dings you'd expect from a 26yr old car, there is a scratch down the driver's side of the car from when some idiot keyed it.
*The gear knob and gear boot have to be changed for roadworthy (missing the H-pattern). I have the replacements but cannot seem to take off the gear knob.
The car starts first time, every time. It's never broken down on me in the couple of years that I owned it and has plenty of life left as it's not thrashed and regularly serviced. It's pretty zippy and looks pretty good. It also comes with black full-sized Euro plates which cost me $700 but completes the car.
Price: $5000
Call me for an inspection on 0433286804.
Located in Sunshine, VIC.
Will get more pics up.

Hey if you're still trying to sell this car you might want to bump it onto the ECCA forum website. Not as well populated as OzAudi (no surprise) but a pretty active BMW rebuild bunch there so you may find some takers.
If you've done this already or have sold the car, pls ignore...
