I've got a 2012 BMW 118i F20. It's manufacture date was November 2011.
I used the following URL to check the head unit for my car: https://www.bimmer-tech.net/blog/ite...bmw-cic-idrive
It indicated that it's a CIC unit which employs a 4-pin LVDS.
However when I pulled out the head unit , it has a 6-pin LVDS connection to the display, which suggests that it's a NBT unit.
The head unit is an Alpine KO-GR:6512
Can someone explain this(?) or is the website above incorrect?
